Policy Forum Dialogue

CCPHI together with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) conducted a Policy Forum Dialogue on 22 February 2011 with participants from the Indonesian Parliament Center. Participants were expert staff from Parliamentary Commissions including Commission VIII for Funding and Commission IX for Health as well as representatives from companies and NGOs that are members of HBRI. The topic of the dialogue is how to improve access to public health services.

Strategic Partnership Workshop

The Office of the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in collaboration with the Company-Community Partnerships for Health in Indonesia (CCPHI) and Paramadina University held a workshop discussing strategic partnerships between public and private on 4 December 2012 in Jakarta.

Prof. Nila Moeloek, the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the MDGs opened the workshop by informing that the MDGs are coming to an end and there are still many goals that need to be pursued. The government is currently establishing a committee to support President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in his capacity as co-chair of the United Nations High-level Panel on the Post-2015 Development Agenda. The committee will consist of experts and high-level staff to assist the President in gathering thoughts and suggestions regarding post MDGs (after 2015).
