“The 30th HBRI Partnership Forum – Sekolah Rakyat Ancora: Partnership between Ancora Foundation and Indonesia Heritage Foundation to improve the quality of Early Childhood Education Teachers”
CCPHI, in collaboration with Atma Jaya Catholic University, facilitated the 30th HBRI Partnership Forum on Wednesday, 24 February 2016. This event was hosted by Ancora Foundation, featuring Sekolah Rakyat Ancora: improving the quality of Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teachers– a partnership between Ancora Foundation dan Indonesia Heritage Foundation.
The Program aims at improving the skills of ECE teachers , supporting 1,000 ECE schools in Indonesia, and providing access to high-quality ECE for 30,000 children a year.
This Partnership Forum was attended by 50 participants representing 13 companies, 16 NGOs, 2 associations and 3 educational institutions. George Martin Sirait, a lecturer at Atma Jaya Catholic University (http://www.atmajaya.ac.id/web/) facilitated the discussion following the presentation.
The Ancora Foundation is a philantrophic organization founded by entrepreneur Gita Irawan Wirjawan with an overriding objective to light fire in the minds of the young in Indonesia through education. Indonesia Heritage Foundation /IHF (www.ihf.or.id) is a non-profit entity that focuses on character education activities for early childhood (3-8 years old) up to teenagers. Established in 2000, IHF now has more than 100 employees (mostly teachers and trainers).
