“The 6th FP/RH – Don’t Bring Home HIV”

The 6th FP/RH Roundtable was facilitated by CCPHI in collaboration with Cipta Cara Padu Foundation (YCCP) ( http://www.yccp-indonesia.org/) on Tuesday, 1st December 2015. Chevron Pacific Indonesia ( http://www.chevronindonesia.com/) hosted the event in commemorating the World AIDS Day.

YCCP Executive Director Inne Silviane moderated the discussions. This time the event was conducted in a different format. We facilitated the discussion using a talk show format, discussing a newly published book entitled Don’t Bring Home HIV, which was written by Ramdani Sirait. The author wrote the interesting book based on his experience working as the Executive Director of Indonesian Business Coalition on Aids (IBCA). After the author discussed about the book, three other panelists presented their perspectives on both the book and the important issue at hand. The panelists at the discussions are Putri Cherry (representing People Living with HIV-AIDS), Erna Dinata of University of Indonesia’s Social Welfare study program (providing a socio-cultural perspective), and dr. Wisprayogie of Chevron Pacific Indonesia (offering the health and corporate perspective).

The 6th FP/RH was attended by 65 participants representing 6 companies, 18 NGOs, 2 educational institutions, 1 government agency, 1 association and 3 media company.
